I see a lot of people searching for ‘off’ games on IRC, especially for CS:GO. The fact is that it is incredibly easy to get your hands on your own temporary server with full rcon access!

Head on over to and you should be presented with five game icons, click on the CS:GO icon to get started.

Fill in your desired server details and click ‘Start Your Server’ once ready.

You then

You should now have full rcon access to your temporary server and are ready to start searching for a game.

  • You can book servers for competitive or public use
  • If you book a server you have to join within 10 minutes otherwise it will be shut down
  • The server will automatically shutdown once everybody has left
  • The maximum amount of clients is 14 per server
  • At the moment the default tick rate is set to 64
  • Because of a bug in the Valve server software, it may take up to a minute until the server name shows up correctly

Thanks Hatton for the link. Since I’m not familiar with CS:GO, I don’t have any idea what Rcon is and what I can do with this. Can someone explain?

Rcon stands for remote console. Having rcon means to have control of that server.

could you explain how to use rcon? for example does it matter what i put under rcon? also there is a tab called config with many options. I’m fairly certain of some of them but what does it mean by esl4on4_5on5. my first guess would be a 5v5 match or 4v4. could you clarify these things to me?

Good day! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering
which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
